After a pretty lengthy battle, bandits are obliterated and the leader curses Capable and escapes while vowing for revenge, completely oblivious that Max has planted one of her bombs in his car. They decide to lure in bandits to one of Citadel's most fortified outpost, which turned out to be headed by Toast the Knowing, who taught Capable on how to use weapons.īandits unsurprisingly arrives at the outpost, only to realize that they stepped right into the trap. They successfully find another small civilization that Capable was looking for and successfully convinces them to join Citadel and other civilizations, but around here, Max realizes why the bandits that they were fighting against was so frenzied - the leader is a twin brother of a former leader killed by Capable in one of her previous missions and now he's going for revenge. Max realizes where Capable's team is heading to, and decides to help since he doesn't have much to do anyway and the only road available is infested with bandits. It is here where we also learn that Capable has become a mother of a twin sibling and has been living a pretty good life for what it's worth. Max immediately attacks the individual, thinking that this person is trying to ransack his car, only to realize that this person is actually Capable sent by Furiosa to scout the area and find some other pockets of civilizations - and yes, she still has her goggles.Ĭapable tells Max that the world is slowly getting back on its feet with more and more people uniting with each other to rebuild the world that has been destroyed and she has now become one of Furiosa's most trusted scout team captain of sorts.
